Major Duties

 

Research Scholar - Anesthesiology - Full-time, 40 hours week

Summary:

Assist with IHC in skeletal tissue and confocal microscopy. Develop methods to conduct high resolution 3D imaging of skeletal innervation in femur and joints in combination with microCT analysis using recently developed passive tissue clearing methods. Anatomical work that needs to be completed for R01 including studies verifying expression of Cre dependent DREADDs and the retroAAVs. Examining injury markers in DRG at late stages of recovery following pSNL surgery to quantify extent of injury and use some arthritis models to validate the shuttle box.  Use variety of biochemical techniques and work in several preclinical pain models.

Education / Experience:  PhD in the biomedical sciences or equivalent professional octoral degree is required.
