The College of Nursing is seeking a full-time, 12-month, Term Instructor/Lecturer. Faculty members plan, implement, and evaluate assigned courses either as an individual assignment or as a member of a teaching team. The individual in this position will be based at our Sioux Falls site.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a Master’s degree in Nursing completed by start date. 
• Licensed by the South Dakota Board of Nursing or eligible for licensure as evidenced by current licensure in another state.
• Two years of relevant clinical practice experience. 
• Application indicates evidence of effective written communication skills.
• Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Doctoral preparation in Nursing or related discipline.
• Degree education from more than one degree-granting institution.
• Formal teaching experience in nursing.
• Evidence of professional service.

This position will be located in Sioux Falls, SD. Bordering Iowa and Minnesota, Sioux Falls is in the “Heart of America.” Conveniently located at the junction of Interstates 90 and 29 on the banks of the Big Sioux River. As South Dakota’s largest city, it is within a day’s drive of most major Midwestern cities.
