Position Summary
The lab of Dr. Alan Jones is researching the expression of recombinant membrane protein using Pichia, purifying membrane proteins from plant tissue, proximity labeling, and MS-MS. It is in search of a post doc whose primary research will be to determine the phosphorylation bar code of GPCR-like membrane protein in trafficking and signal transduction. Duties will involve cell biology experiments, proteomic experiments, recombinant protein expression, scientific paper writing, and mentoring undergrad students.
Due to the current difficulty in obtaining US work permits and visas and the urgency to fill this position immediately, priority will be given to domestic applicants.  
Educational Requirements
PhD in a biology-related field
