JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Distinguished Honors Faculty Program (DHFP) at the Schreyer Honors College is looking to hire two part-time Faculty Assistant. This position works with faculty members of the DHFP and members of the Schreyer Honors College administrative staff to plan and execute small group events for the DHFP. Faculty Assistants will also help in facilitating communication between students, faculty, and administrators. Requirements include excellent verbal and written communication, organization, and customer service skills, along with the ability to work independently and as a member of a team. A positive image in dealing with students, faculty, administrators, and with both internal and external visitors is also required. The time commitment varies greatly, but up to 10 hours a week is expected. This is a nine-month position with a commitment of at least one full academic year. Preference will be given to scholars in the Schreyer Honors College. Please submit a cover letter and resume along with your application.

The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. The ASR is available for review here .
