JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State World Campus is seeking a proven brand content strategist to join our team to develop and execute the Penn State World Campus marketing content strategy. As a member of a cross-functional marketing unit, the successful candidate will work with an experienced team of marketing and web strategists, creative specialists, and market researchers to develop data-driven communications to Penn State World Campus prospective students, current students, and alumni. We seek candidates who are able to demonstrate experience and ability to advance Outreach and Online Education’s diversity initiative.

The ideal candidate is someone who has extensive experience breaking down complex processes in order to communicate effectively and concisely to the Penn State World Campus audiences. This position requires exceptional attention to detail both editorially and in regards to data accuracy as well as proven successful experiences in client management and diplomacy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, team building/cross-functional collaboration skills, and a proven ability to adapt content to different marketing platforms are a must. Experience with social media content development and curation is valued.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate will report directly to the Assistant Director for Content Strategy at Penn State World Campus.
