DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE:
Under the direction of the Dean, Disability Resource Center and Veterans Resource Center, the Tools for Transition and Work (TTW) Program Instructor’s primary area of responsibility will be classroom teaching and curriculum development which includes Job Search Skills, Career Resources, Employment Issues, ADA and the Law, Job Training and Internship, Personal Development, and other vocational and educational classes for students with disabilities. Interface with local career and workforce agencies. Assess and evaluate students’ eligibility into the program. Work with students to develop appropriate educational goals and evaluate student progress. Act as a liaison between the program/division and community agencies. Assign and supervise work of instructional aids. Perform duties such as student recruitment, student advisement and student selection as well as other routine task required to insure smooth operation of the program.
Standard duties expected of all faculty include development and evaluation of curricula, maintaining scheduled office hours, attending department and division meetings, pursuing professional growth activities, service on district and/or college committees, and performing other duties consistent with the role of an instructor. Instructors also have the opportunity to participate in campus extra-curricular activities.

HIRING RANGE: $66,539.00 - $109,280.00 annually plus benefits; actual placement is based on applicant’s verified education and experience.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time, Tenure-track, 11-months per year
