Applications are invited for a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow position in Kottilil laboratory at the Institute of Human Virology, University of Maryland School of Medicine to join an active research group focused on translational research on the adaptive immune response to chronic viral infections such as HBV, HCV and HIV-1. Successful candidates will work in a highly collaborative multi-project environment with the goal of developing and understanding the use of immunotherapeutics for the prevention and treatment of these chronic viral infections. We are seeking highly motivated and collaborative individuals with PhD or MD/PhD capable of independent reasoning and excited about learning new technologies. The candidates should have excellent writing and communication skills and familiar with techniques such as multi-color flow cytometry, tissue culture, humanized mouse models, ELISA, and RT-PCR. Applicants should have prior experience in at least two of the following fields: Immunology, Virology, and Animal Models (preferably all three).
