Postdoctoral Associate in Early Care and Education Policy Research, School of Social Work (22500028790412)
Boston University’s School of Social Work’s (BUSSW) invites applications for a postdoctoral research fellow whose research focuses on early care and education (e.g., child care subsidies, supply and quality of child care, disparity in access) and intersection between early care and education and other public assistance systems, such as child welfare, cash assistance program. The projects are conducted by the research partnership between Boston University, Brandeis University, and Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. The Post-Doctoral Research fellow will coordinate multiple aspects of the projects with the research team, lead the data analysis, guide research assistants, assist with writing research briefs and manuscripts, assist with writing grant proposals in collaborating with training faculty, and support dissemination efforts. The postdoctoral research fellow will work closely with the PI on the project and the research team.
A doctoral degree in social work, public policy, economics, developmental psychology, or a related field is required. Applicants must have completed their PhD prior to beginning the fellowship. Preferred candidates will have:

This fellowship requires a 12-month commitment and can be extended. The position is full-time, and grant funded. This is a hybrid position with several days in the office and remote work. Competitive salary and benefits package. In addition to salary, the fellow will have funds to support academic conferences and computer/software needs and will be given time to conduct independent research of their own.
