Position Summary | The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor position in Chemistry to begin in Fall 2022. Official duties and responsibilities of faculty members at the University include teaching, scholarship, service and professional activities as assigned. Full-time faculty at UIW are expected to teach four courses in the fall semester and four courses in the spring semester. In all matters, faculty are expected to maintain the highest standards of professional ethics consistent with the UIW Mission. This position is considered a “Responsible Employee” under Title IX federal regulations and “Mandatory Reporter” under Texas state law and the UIW Sexual Misconduct Policy. As a Mandatory Reporter, this position requires you as the employee to promptly report any incident that you witness or receive information about Title IX violations. These reporting responsibilities are set out in the UIW Sexual Misconduct Policy. |
