Minimum Qualifications
AAS degree and 2 years working in the AEC industry.
Work Experience
2 years working with Autodesk Revit software in the AEC industry.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in architecture or industrial technology.

Essential Functions
The Adjunct Instructor, Architectural Technology is responsible for teaching courses in the Architectural Technology program and working with the Director to meet the needs of the department and its students. More specifically, and consistent with the terms and conditions of appointment as stipulated in the contract of employment.
Job Duties
1. Instruct 1-3 classes using Traditional, Online, or Hybrid formats as required by schedule.
2. Have instructional plans prepared for each class with the stated objectives of the course.
3. Comply with institutional rules and regulations pertinent to classroom instruction and general employment.
4. Assist the Construction Trades director with apprenticeship area tasks and responsibilities.
5. Assist in planning and curriculum development for any new, special programs/projects. (ie. grants, camps, community partner initiatives)
6. Be able to present and advertise promotional and marketing materials to the public, schools, businesses, and industry.
7. Help to maintain labs and equipment. This includes upkeep, inventory of tools and machines within the 3-5 labs being used for programming.
8. Assist with the development and production of career fairs in the construction area.
9. Collaborate with community partners, specifically CTE and public school partners.
10. Collaborate with curriculum programs in the use of shared lab spaces and classrooms.
11. Take advantage of in-service training and other opportunities for continued professional development.
12. Attend any trainings or certification courses that will help in offering specific certificates or credentials to our student population.
