The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Department of Cancer Biology, is hiring for a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow to join the Fan Laboratory (https://researchdirectory.uc.edu/p/fanyb ). Fan lab has major research interests in vascular biology, metabolism and tumor microenvironment. We currently focus on the elucidation of molecular mechanisms underlying vascular diseases and tumor angiogenesis using a combination of molecular, cellular, genomic and mouse genetic (conditional knockout, transgenic and mutant knock-in) approaches for the studies and translational research.
Positions are temporary appointments as a research trainee. Appointments shall not exceed five (5) years; however, short extensions may be granted when necessary to complete a critical research project.
Doctoral Degree in Physiology, Biology, or a related field, or the recognized terminal degree, or the foreign equivalent.
