What We Want
The selected candidate for the Postdoctoral Research Associate will be responsible for conducting research in Chemistry. The Postdoctoral Research Associate will also be responsible for writing manuscripts, developing research proposals, and helping with graduate student mentoring and group organization. What You Need to Know
Salary : Salary will be commensurate based on the selected candidate's education and experience.
Required Education:
Appropriate Doctoral Degree.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Education:
Doctoral Degree in Chemistry.
Responsibilities:
Conduct Research in Chemistry: Participate in analyzing and disseminating data results as part of participation in group meetings, prepare manuscripts, periodic reports, scientific papers/presentations.
Presentations and Meetings: Make presentations of results at group meetings and other appropriate venues. Provide advice and assistance to other laboratory team members, act as a mentor to students.
Research Enhancement and Development: Attend scientific meetings and seminars for research enhancement. Keep up to date on scientific research via reading of literature, etc. Participating in writing grant proposals. Maintain laboratory instrumentation and follow applicable safety standards and perform other duties as assigned.
