The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, is hiring a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow to join the Sadayappan Laboratory (https://researchdirectory.uc.edu/p/sadayasl). The Sadayappan Lab has major research interests in striated muscle biology, distal arthrogryposis and cardiomyopathies. We currently focus on the elucidation of molecular mechanisms underlying skeletal and cardiac muscle diseases, using a combination of molecular, cellular, genomic and mouse genetic (conditional knockout, transgenic and mutant knock-in) approaches, toward the goals of translational research and drug discovery.
The incumbent will conduct research and/or analyze research data and ensure that all experiments are appropriately conducted following the policies and procedures of the University of Cincinnati.
Doctoral Degree in Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Biology, or a related field.
