Summary

The Michigan Medicine Department of Dermatology is seeking a board-certified/-eligible dermatologist to join our diverse and talented faculty team. We invite applications from candidates who are dedicated to compassionate and equitable patient care, innovative teaching and the pursuit of clinical scholarship. This full-time position will participate in medical dermatology patient care and teaching in outpatient and inpatient settings. Opportunities to participate in didactic teaching, clinical research, organizational service and professional development are available and encouraged.

Required Qualifications*

Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree, be board-certified/board-eligible in dermatology and have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical license in the State of Michigan. Evidence of excellence in patient care, didactic teaching and a record of peer-reviewed publications is expected.  The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate effectively with other providers and faculty. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Background Screening

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.  Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
