Posting Summary | Rutgers Law School EDIT/MEDIA SPEC I DESIGN reports to the Director of Marketing & Communications of Rutgers Law School (Newark and Camden). Responsibilities include sourcing and producing a variety of compelling content for Rutgers Law School’s media platforms, identifying and developing new communications technologies and platforms, and managing multi-platform content and the Department’s editorial calendar. This individual will play a key role in amplifying the Rutgers Law School brand and building pride among students and alumni through strategic storytelling across multiple channels and audiences. The EDIT/MEDIA SPEC I DESIGN will lead proactive and reactive media relations across CMD and NWK campuses by: • Tracking, monitoring, and measuring media coverage • Developing and updating media, scholarly, and other related contact lists • Leading event publicity (including website calendar) • Drafting media advisories • Securing op-eds and promoting thought leadership content • Proactively pitching faculty experts and law school stories aligned to strategic messaging and priorities As lead content producer for owned digital channels, the EDIT/MEDIA SPEC I DESIGN will: • Align content strategy and editorial calendar • Produce content optimized for targeted audiences on various platforms • Source and edit content using Rutgers style guidelines • Track and report content engagement data |
