Lead the simulation of catalysts and materials that can act as liquid organic hydrogen carriers in both gas and liquid phases. Catalysts can operate either thermally or electrocatalytically. Simulations will require the use of quantum calculations, molecular dynamics and/or Monte Carlo simulations, and multiscale modeling. The position will require frequent meetings with our computational and experimental collaborators, as well as producing publications and giving presentations at national and international conferences; preparing project reports; supervising graduate and undergraduate students to perform the simulations, analysis, and presentation of the results; and leading and assisting in the preparation of proposals for new funding.

Minimum Education:
PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related field

PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering or a related field

Required Experience
Experience in the simulation of catalysts and materials that can act as liquid organic hydrogen carries in both gas and liquid phases. Experience producing publications and giving presentations, preparing project reports and collaborating with other researchers and students.
